Affordable Housing Preservation How to Apply Workshops announced
Updates to both the program guidelines and application package for the Affordable Housing Preservation and Production and Special Needs Housing Program have been made. This How to Apply workshop will review these updates, and is recommended for project owners, developers or sponsors interested in applying for funds in 2008 – 2009.

2008 Virginia Housing Rehabilitation Workshop

The DHCD Project Management Office and Total Action Against Poverty (TAP) are pleased to announce the 2008 Housing Rehabilitation Workshop. This year’s workshop will explore various housing rehabilitation policies, procedures and best practices related to housing rehabilitation funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Indoor Plumbing Rehabilitation (IPR) programs. As always workshop participants will have plenty of opportunities to network with DHCD staff, old friends and new acquaintances.
This workshop is open to staff and consultants of non-entitlement communities who have been awarded or will be applying for CDBG or IPR funds for low- and moderate-income housing rehabilitation. Hotel information is included in the workshop brochure.
