Funding through the Virginia Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) may be used by eligible units of local government to target and promote regional community development efforts. Potential activities include “seed” funding to support community organizing, regional needs assessments and asset-identification, along with implementation efforts to support projects and efforts that align with a regional vision.
