Join Virginia Main Street (VMS) for an engaging, half-day workshop focused on practical skills, tools, and confidence needed to support independent retailers, strengthen downtown districts, and foster long term economic vitality Led by Retail Alliance — a Norfolk-based firm dedicated to retail education and advocacy — attendees will gain insight into how to utilize data to understand your district's market, learn about the realities of downtown retail leasing and property ownership, and supporting small business owners at every stage. Attendees will leave the workshop with practical tools and strategies to support retailers and small businesses at home. Held separately in four different locations across the state, communities have the option to select which Rev Up workshop they'd like to attend. Content will be the same at all four workshops so choose the most convenient location for you.
